How many bricks do you see in the picture?

Four Volvos

At the ‘yard

I just got the pictures off my phone so I'm just now getting around to posting this.  Last week someone decided that the door handle of my car was attached too well and decided to forcibly remove part of it while it was parked out in the parking lot.  I went out to the local Pull-A-Part to find a late model 240 to  scavage the drivers side door handle for my car.  They definitely had a new group of cars.  While walking around, I found two Volvo 122s.  The usually don't have anything like this.

There was even a nice 1984 245 Turbo.  Unfortunately, it was missing the wheels, the turbo, most of the air intake, and the dash was in the hatch. All of the body panels were in really good shape.

I also found a nice 90 240 which I pulled the door handle from.  Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the donor car.  Once I got the "new" parts cleaned up at home, it took me about half an hour to disable my driver door to install the handle.

What’s In The Picture?

I'm tinkering with some old steganography code that I wrote a while back. It's basically a Perl script that makes use of some PerlMagick functions. So what's in the picture? Besides the four Volvos, I've embedded a listing of the year and model of each.  Look in the wrong place, and you'll find the cast listing of the Matrix.

Another Experiment

Another experiment with the WP features. This time an image.

Of course I had to work Volvos into this in some form or fashion. I’ve been getting hints that I can buy another car. This one is up for sale locally, and it’s the same year as my hobby car. It rougher in some places, but better than others.
