  • Sharepoint Implementation

Installed and configured SharePoint 2007 on a virtual machine. AppHosting team is beta testing the

  • PRT1 Migration

The replacement PRT1 VM has been prepared.

  • Housing LDAP authentication in ColdFusion

Housing is updating their code for the application on Apphost2. Authentication has changed from Radius to LDAP. with that change some of the ColdFusion files and database connections had to be changed. The DBA created a new view especially for this application and required an encrypted connection to the database. I had to update the code on apphost2-dev so that the Housing group could test their new code. So I guess that I can add ColdFusion developer to my list of skills.

  • Microsoft Patches on ITS servers

I installed the January MS patches on the ITS servers including the DST patch using WSUS.

  • I created the startup and shutdown procedures for the servers that I manage.
  • Worked on the data import of network devices into Altiris
  • Did research on DST patch for IBM servers, and created a change for it.

December Status Report (MAR)

January 2nd, 2007 by kendra.thorpe

Since December was a slow month, here is a high level overview:

  1. Registrar-srv1 hardware replacement. New hardware was put into production on December 15th with no major issues. Go, Kendra! Go, Kendra!
  2. PRT1 hardware replacement. I did some work getting this server to the point where it can be scanned by the Security group
  3. Copy and edited all built-in Altiris Windows hardware reports for End User Services group. This was an arduous and time-consuming process. I had to copy and manipulate each report by individually because there is no facility to copy multiple reports. Arggh!!
