1.) Coordinated 121 Magic Tickets for Applications Hosting. This involves determining a priority for handling our trouble tickets as well as determining who would be best suited to handle each ticket based on individual expertise and the current time available of our staff on hand.
2.) I resolved 45 Magic Tickets. This majority of the tickets involved rebuilding and restoring mailboxes, group mailbox quota changes, VUNetID changes due to incorrect entry and mailing list owner changes.
3.) Maintained the daily tasks of the backup system. This involves monitoring the ITS Backup Server to insure there are adequate tapes available for the backup process each day. Also assist in the coordination of our offsite tape storage.
4.) Patched all servers dealing with VUMail, personal VUSpace and the VU Corporate Time Calendar Service.
5.) Continued project to clean Sun Servers for disposal and organize storage room. We are working towards discarding old equipment and also determine systems suitable to keep for emergency use or testing. This project has now expanded to all of the existing equipment in the room and priority has been elevated.
6.) I finished a project started the final three days of January with the Business and Finance team dealing with Assets Management. I was tasked with locating approximately 192 various items in our ITS – Server Asset Inventory and was able to locate 165.

3.) Finished testing a product named Big Fix as a possible patching solution for our Unix and Linux systems. Final decision is still pending.

Also assisted in the coordination of our offsite tape storage. I am still working with Evan when time permits to train to provide more support of this system.
5.) Performed quarterly database maintenance for the VU Corporate Time Calendar Service. This is a process used to purge deleted data and periodically clean the system in order to provide the best service possible to our VU Corporate Time Calendar users.
