  •          Successfully relinked and tested NETID Oracle DB after Dan patched OS
  •          Rebuilt RHN database with Oracle 9.  Imported RHN data from current production server.  Tested Successfully.  Unix Team will test RHN app. Uninstalled Oracle 10G
  •          Created Work Orders in Production BMC Service Desk Application.  The upgrade revealed a bug on the work order form.  The incident# variable has been changed within the database but not on the form.  I worked with BMC for 2 weeks on this issue.
  •          Created Survey Process in Development BMC Service Desk Application.
  •          Created many BMC Service Desk business Rules to include
  • o   VUNETid Authenticate web submission
  • o   Storage and NAS request web submission
  •          Started Decommission process for Magicvir virtual server.

Magic 8.0 to BMC ServiceDesk 9.2 Upgrade

I have written out a complete process for copying Magic 8.0 application to a new sever, upgrading to BMC Service Desk 9.2 with a MSSQL2000  database.
