Projects:

VUspace Replacement:

• We conducted a test of the E-room/Documentum product line.
• We narrowed our choices for VUspace solutions to Xythos and MS Windows Cluster.  E-room may still be considered depending on further feedback from the vendor.

Operational:

• I helped reformat the Executive Summary report for the Storage environment.  I also recovered metrics for this past calendar year to be placed into the Summary report.
• I conducted a performance comparison in our environment between the Celerra and the BlueArc.
• I put together a report for our IMAP e-mail environment showing the amount of e-mails we have 90, 90-120, and 120+ days old.  I also included the total amount of disk space each of those categories consumed on disk.
• I deployed the Storage and NAS request pages.  These forms now open magic tickets automatically with the Storage team.
• I upgraded RMSE in the production Exchange environment and resolved several issues the initial upgrade caused.
• I participated in the troubleshooting of ongoing backup issues.
