BEST Camp Finishes Another Successful Summer

Almost 50 boys from middle schools in Tennessee, Louisana, Georgia, Arkansas and New Mexico participated in this year's Boys Exploring Science and Technology (BEST) camp. Campers worked with Metro Nashville Schools' science teachers and Vanderbilt students in various fun and engaging science activities. They also interacted with Vanderbilt faculty members, such as Dr. Joe Hamilton and Dr. David James from the Department of Physics and Astronomy and visited the Free Electron Laser Center and LifeFlight helipad on campus.
